Framekast-L is a prescription-only medication and should be used under the supervision of a registered medical practitioner. Montelukast has been associated with neuropsychiatric effects such as mood changes and sleep disturbances — patients should be monitored carefully. Acebrophylline should be used cautiously in patients with cardiac conditions or peptic ulcers. Desloratadine is generally well tolerated but caution is advised in renal impairment.
